fyi I've been using zgv for a couple of days after reading how you use CLI for that kind of stuff. I still haven't figured out how to grab text off the CLI terminal and push it up into this window using lynx. If you're already in X there's not that much point in running framebuffer/svgalib programs...

if that doesn't work, most touchpads are just a ps2 device, so maybe the regular ps2 sensitivity option would work, Option "Resolution" "256", in your mouse input section of the X config, it's worth a try if the first solution doesn't help

Btw, tham, if you want your opera fonts to look better I discovered a trick just a few hours ago; open a new tab, go to the address opera:config, scroll down to userprefs and click it, scroll down to 'enable x core fonts' and make sure it's off, untick the little box, scroll to the bottom and save, ...
