Solved, my problem was that i had my swap partition inside lvm. solved by making a new swap part outside lvm

I have downloaded the Debian DVD image (the first one on the list) and i burned to a rw disc, the DVD boots just fine but when choose to install, whether its the graphical install or text install it gives me a memory not enough message even though i have 2gb of ram. im not sure the problem is here s...

word of advice if you gonna dual boot for the first time do it on your own computer.
lotta things can go wrong when trying to do a dualboot install and the chances of wiping your win partition are high
