Re: Installing on MacBook Air 6,1 via Wi-Fi
I have the USB Ethernet adapter, but the only wired connection I can use here is PPPoE. Fortunately the Installation manual says that it's probably be working with ppp-udeb.kedaha wrote: I suppose you are able to do the installation using a wired connection?
Thanks a lot again!

Is the proprietary broadcom-sta driver the only way for now? Is there an alternative free software driver (w/ non-free firmware) for this adapter?

Re: Alignment partitions for LUKS/dm-crypt and LVM
Thanks, sej7278 . I think that before d-i 'Detect disks', I need do that: 1. switch to tty2 and make my partitions hierarchy manually with parted, cryptsetup and [pv|vg|lv]create (--align-payload for cryptsetup and --dataalignment for pvcreate is required); 2. back to tty1 and continue installation ...

Alignment partitions for LUKS/dm-crypt and LVM
Hi!
I want to install Debian on SSD. In general partition scheme must be as this:
1. /boot
2. swap
3. dm-crypt/lvm/[all other partitions]
How can I do partitions alignment during Debian installation for dm-crypt and LVM?
