So i have a pretty good computer(Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz, 32gb of ram, gtx 1060), but for some reason i still get pretty bad fps in a lot of games, for example minecraft 1.17.1 can't run at 60 fps and is always below that number.
I am not really good with linux nor computers in general(don't have a lot of experience working with them) and i don't know if that is a problem that can be solved.

Do you have intel-microcode installed and are you using nouveau or proprietary Nvidia drivers?

You also need firmware for Nvidia cards as mentioned in that wiki page linked in the above post.
