Chrome too slow on Debian 11

#1 Post by pedronovaes »

Hello,

When I'm using google meet, chrome turns too slow. After some search on google, it seems to be a bug with hardware acceleration and a solution could be to disable the hardware acceleration on chrome.

But, when I disable this acceleration, some pages stop working fluidly, e.g. google maps.

Any idea how can I fix this bug without disabling the hardware acceleration?

Thanks

Hello,

I have a laptop Dell inspiron 14 5482, Intel Core i7-8565U @ 1.80GHz, Optimus (hybrid) graphics chipset: (I) Nvidia GeForce MX130; and (ii) Intel WhiskeyLake-U GT2.

I don't have the Nvidia card installed on my laptop. I just use the intel card.
