Yesterday I used the suspend feature and had some strange things happen. The system was suspended for about two hours and when I woke it up I saw that the clock on the top panel off by two hours. It's as if the system clock did not update while asleep. I suppose that makes sense since the system is basically just refreshing ram during the sleep period (I think). However, later that evening I shut the system down and that's when things got strange. On shutdown I got a screen full of messages and instead of powering down the system just hung with the messages displayed on the screen. Unfortunately I was so dumbfounded that I didn't bother to take a picture of the screen. I tried to execute a hard reset (yikes) but nothing happened. Eventually, after about 5 minutes the computer responded to the reset button.
I looked at journalctl for that time period and don't see anything out of the ordinary. Here are the last 40 lines or so from the journal
