copy Debian.iso image on USB stick

#1 Post by syntone »

I have bootable USB stick with GParted, created with Unetbootin. I want to create bootable Debian .ISO image on that USB stick instead: should I first reformat drive, or can directly copy .ISO image on that USB media?

Got it. Also, I have new unformatted hard drive: should I first to create a GPT partition table on it use GParted, or I can proceed directly to installing debian.iso, and Debian installer will create GPT table?

The installer will format for you or you can use GParted to format. Either way will work.
