Touchpad requiring two fingers to move cursor

#1 Post by kcbagr »

I am running Debian 11 (fully up to date) on a lenovo X13 Yoga Gen 2.

Upon boot, I can use one finger to move the cursor using the touchpad. After some time though, moving the cursor with just one finger becomes impossible. I am forced to use two fingers to move the cursor using the touchpad.

Anybody know a fix for this? I would like to be able to continue to be able to move the cursor with 1 finger. If I reboot the machine, I can again use just 1 finger again for a while until the problem reappears. I suspect this is a bug in the Debian touchpad driver being used. Anybody know a fix? Is Debian aware of this bug?
