Is there a character map tool that supports ASCII?

#1 Post by larienna »

I need to type ASCII characters to create border frames using extended ASCII characters. Unfortunately, most character map tools only have unicode support. So far I tried "kcharselect" and "gucharmap" and I could not find in both software how to extract the information. Is there another charmap tool that can do that?

Else, the only solution I can find is to create a program where I manually enter ASCII code for each character. Then copy paste the output where I need it. Not very convenient.
