Tap to Click working when "disabled"

#1 Post by kcbagr »

I have Tap to Click disabled in the settings. But as I write this tapping the touchpad results in a click. If I reboot the computer, everything will work normally for a while until the problem returns.

Can someone PLEASE help me figure out a fix or a way to restart the touchpad driver so I don't have to keep rebooting all the time?

How did you disable the tap to click exactly? Is this Debian 11 with gnome or something else?
