my user account seems to have been blown away...

Been getting invalid username errors for a couple days now - was able to re-create my account just now with the same username, password and email address.

My posts appear to be missing from threads in which I've posted. Not sure what blew up here but as far as the board's concerned it appears I never existed :cry:

i remember seeing your posts with wizard1000 not 10 thou
can you check if your old username is that?

its not possible for a forum cms to allow creation of another account with the same username. the first step would be cross reference db for existing accounts

Similar problem: I cannot access my "old" account which I used till my holidays.

I've tried to retrieve a new password but do not get an email. Also "Resend activation e-mail" did not work, I do not get the message that my email address may be wrong.
So I've made a similar name account, sounds the same but is written differently. :mrgreen:

Is a repair of my old account possible?

Your account (andre@home) is alive and well. I am not sure why you have an issue.

I tried several times to get the forgotten password, got no mail, its not in my spam box.

Just checked again, also asking for re-sending the activation mail :

If I use another mail address ... of course: I get an answer that it does not exist..

Yes and I can not recover it, so that's why I asked whether maybe my account was in someway having a trouble.
Why else I do not receive my password forgotten and activation mail if I ask for it?
And they do not end up in my spam box, I've checked this several times.
So now? Suggestions are welcome.

Not sure why the reset didn't work. I can change your password and send it to the email you signed up with. Is that OK?

As my mail to the domain you did get them (>2 times tried) or not?

I sent using a personal email as I don't have a domain address.
I get mail from admin@ but none from you.
