Bullseye on a Chromebook.

#1 Post by aamcle »

I have a PixelBook on loan and I have successfully set up Bullseye on it and installed the program I want to use on it. I did not setup a password.....
However I'm having trouble setting up my HP Envy 5546 printer it seems to be setup but when I print it gets part way and asks for a username /password.

I have a choice :-

user/pass for the Goole account, chromebook login
root/pass I'm not sure of the password
user/pass it seems to have picked up my user name from ChromOs but I don't know the password.
user@penguin/pass but again I don't know the password.

I have some experience with linux Mint but I'm addicted to using a GUI I don't use the terminal often enough to be skilled.

Any Help much appreciated.

Thanks aamcle

It's all a bit pointless now, the owner of the chromebook needed it back........

My target machine has a MediaTek Helio P60T, is it safe to follow those steps of the link above?
