Upgraded to kernel 5.15.0-1. Failed to boot. "mdadm: No devices listed in conf file were found" (The same bug was fixed in sid but seems to have re-appeared)

Again, as stated above I think the problem is related to post-processing of initramfs-tools (config problem):
E: initramfs-tools: installed initramfs-tools package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1
or
Setting up initramfs-tools (0.140) ...
update-initramfs: deferring update (trigger activated)
Processing triggers for libc-bin (2.32-4) ...
Processing triggers for hicolor-icon-theme (0.17-2) ...
Processing triggers for initramfs-tools (0.140) ...
update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-5.14.0-4-amd64
E: /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/plymouth failed with return 1.
update-initramfs: failed for /boot/initrd.img-5.14.0-4-amd64 with 1.
dpkg: error processing package initramfs-tools (--configure):
installed initramfs-tools package post-installation script subprocess returned
error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
initramfs-tools
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Booting from the 5.14.0-4, 5.15.0-1 & 5.15.0-2 kernels was successful with my Lenovo Ideapad Flex5 (Ryzen 7 4700). Previous example that has problems booting was with a Ryzen 7 3700 desktop machine.

Continue testing on other machines. (All our machines are AMD Ryzen based with either Radean or Vega GPU.)

This problem disappeared (!) after I installed Debian 11.2 and upgraded to Debian 12 from there.
