I am thinking about becoming a Debian Developer and I just want a better idea what kind of users Debian Developers are.

It really doesn't matter for development, since the developers almost always build packages either in the cloud or in "containers" on their own machines, so their daily driver could even be Mint or something like that.

Sure--the Windows GIMP packages are built on Linux using Cygwin, so turnabout is fair play.
