what do you think of my desktop?

I bought a laptop platform, an usb-hub , a mini backlit keyboard and some bridles to attach all under platform :o ;
now i can keep working without any neck pains, next time I think I will get a monitor better

Get a docking station and big screen. ;)

I was even thinking of buying a tower inteed a new laptop.. but now Ive what I needed; a docking station + laptop + monitor

So. A small screen powerfull HP laptop plus a dockstation, plus a cheap monitor , would be a great , longterm and cheap linux solution

something like: 180 € (hp 13'' laptop) + 40 € (amazon dockstation used) + 75 € (cheap monitor) = 300 €

I think I might go for this configuration; what do you think about it? :)

raspberry pi400 ($70 or $100 for the kit) + a monitor
While it has its drawback being arm/arm64, as long as you aren't a gamer it works great.

Looks nice. I had an HP laptop with dock at work about a decade ago. It was truly the best of both worlds.

I just recently purchased a cheap ThinkPad docking station myself from the second hand corporate market.

If your computer supports it, get one that you can place your computer on (to avoid messing with cables):
