That would be one of five in a VM. I always hear people ranting and raving about this thing and that thing so I try them and then never use them.
XP is the one I use most often when I cant get something to work in Linux or wine. Other than iTunes I've found something better in Debian or it just plain works in wine.

Post your XP screenshots. In this thread we have two rules. Not Debian and not thumbnails. We want non-free fullscreen stuff.62chevy wrote:That would be one of five in a VM. I always hear people ranting and raving about this thing and that thing so I try them and then never use them.

this is what up you asked for. Just had to leave that little note say my computer may be at risk up. Total up time < 30 seconds.

Very nice work.
I wish for a conjugal visit and world peace. (Don't want to seem selfish.)

Ubuntu as a live-CD running in a BSD-qemu-installation on top of Debian (anyone?) with enlightenment as a window-shell.

2748 posts missing to beat the original.
Lets assume ten people post.
Lets assume each one is running 24 distros.
Lets assume with ten wallpapers
Lets assume with 10 gtk-engines.
Can we beat it?
Its forking great to waste bandwith, no?

When I saw all those beautiful screenshots full of eye candy, I can only say, that despite having a dual core processor with 3 Giga Bytes of RAM, I am still too old fashioned to waste them. In particular, I have a great repulsion for unnecessary processes running in the background just to produce some info on the desktop that I can get by fetching a terminal and typing a command.
KDE4 has lots of eye-candy if I decide to have it, but I prefer function over fashion. Maybe, I am getting too old...

Funny, I've noticed that all members that have joined in 2007 share have these points in common.edbarx wrote:When I saw all those beautiful screenshots full of eye candy, I can only say, that despite having a dual core processor with 3 Giga Bytes of RAM, I am still too old fashioned to waste them. Sometimes I miss windows so much, I have to pretend to still use it. Friggin' sweet...
Now,if I could just replace that stupid L menu with a proper Start button, I'd be golden. Is there a gui tool to do this automatically? The terminal is scary.

That was because in 2007 there was a virus on the forums that affected all new members of that year.Mr James wrote:Funny, I've noticed that all members that have joined in 2007 share have these points in common.edbarx wrote:When I saw all those beautiful screenshots full of eye candy, I can only say, that despite having a dual core processor with 3 Giga Bytes of RAM, I am still too old fashioned to waste them. Hannah Montana Linux is a fantastic distro. How can you go wrong when you mix Kubuntu with the greatest artist to ever live? srsly.
