Very nice, bester
Sharing mine so you can see. Clickable thumbnail - someone just reminded me that I could use syncthing to keep things aligned between the four machines here so I installed it on all four machines and am happily synchronizing multimedia between all four of them now
edit: the two conkys is because I'm watching both machines while syncthing does it's initial thing - to make sure I don't fill up a drive with a bad rule

@canci love that wallpaper. Is it available somewhere? It looks like my cat (RIP).

Re: What does your desktop look like?
Coincidentally, it also looks like my late cat who died last year.
Wallpaper is here, just scroll down. I had to mirror mine horizontally because I use light icons and fonts in the upper right.

Re: What does your desktop look like?
I am using the black one from here. The theme doesnt work perfectly as it doesn't fully integrate with plank and systems/settings folder icons are the same in the whisker menu. Some do integrate but its hard to remember as I tried a few icon themes out and it all becomes a bit of a mish-mash I think. My libreoffice icons are all MS Office themed, which is good but I don't think it comes from my current icon theme.
My top left button is just a Debian logo on a white circle that I downloaded and edited in gimp.
I feel a bit like my friends son who took a pair of cheap white earbuds (with only one ear working) and cut the wires off so they looked like airpods. But it's useful to have familiar icons for stuff that isn't familiar. The thunar and synaptic package manager default icons don't make any sense to me.

(<click for bigger picture)
My desktop looks like this nowadays.
It is an XFCE desktop with Whisker Menu, Mojave Dark desktop theme, pcc_kazloru window thema and Ubuntu Studio Dark icon theme. I put the window action buttons on the far left of the window because I was used to that when I used Ubuntu Lucid Lynx in the past with a Gnome 2 desktop which had them on the left. In XFCE, you can configure everything like you want.

Re: What does your desktop look like?
I'm back. Been a while since I have visited the Debian forums. So what better place to come to for a second post.
Last Sunday I did a "Deb v10 → update|upgrade|full upgrade → Deb v11
PERFECT!!!!
Clean:
My tweak to inxi (alias s11='inxi -Fzpwxx -c24')

Linux may not be the best OS but in IMHO it's way ahead of whatever is in second place!
