Automatic login and application execution
Automatic login and application execution
Boa noite pessoal!
Debian Mate 10.9

Re: Login automático e execução de aplicativo
Code: Select all
Good night people! Despite being a Linux user for 14 years, this is my first time using Debian! So, I have 2 questions:
1. How can I enable system startup without having to type username and password?
2. I installed an app from Flatpak, but it doesn't show up in the menu, and it still shows that it's running for super-user (I don't know if that's why it doesn't show up in the menu), without showing the app's logo. How do I get it to run for any user?
Debian Mate 10.9

Re: Login automático e execução de aplicativo
Autologin is probably the same as in ubuntu mate:

For flatpak I have no idea, never use them and don't plan to ever use them. I recall seeing something on the internet somewhere about your question.

Lightdm has the option in its settings, or use a systemd way.natan2021 wrote:I need to know how to boot the system without having to enter the username and password.
