I'm doing a Mimetype icon theme where I use a title bar with mostly 3 letters to specify what that icon represents.
I came accross ELF File Types and I did some work and still need help on knowing what name to use on my icons.
When I use mediainfo command I get three options:
Format Profile: 1) Shared Object, 2) Executable, & 3) Relocatable
However, people know them by different names:
1) Object Code & Compiled Object instead of Relocatable File
2) Shared Library instead of Shared Object
I need help on choosing what name to use. Do they mean exactly the same thing or are there any reasons why people use different names?
