Re: Timeshift
Go into Settings and then choose the tab for location. I like to place my Timeshift backups on a separate partition, usually on the same drive as the operating system.

Re: Timeshift
I had no problems saving a backup to my current drive that Bullseye is on as well a another drive on this machine. my only sorrow is that timeshift does NOT allow over the network saves like to my Synology NAS that has rsync and NFS turned on . I gave up looking for opensource solutions and bought CloudBerry it's 30.00 and it's NOT perfect , but does allow me to backup to the Synology . they calim a bunch of cloud vendors, but I could NOT get it to save to Gdrive at Google , so it's useless to me there.
