hi
i am trying out Dual boot on my Thinkpad T440, even after reading about how bad dualboot is. but i am pleasanyly surprised it has been working smoothly so far.
i installed Win-10 to the SSD first. It took up the first 3 partitions. Then, i installed Debian in two Logical drives.
My question is that the Grub main menu respond very slow to keyboard. Like a 2 seconds delay.
Is this normal for Grub ?

Newbie try dual boot
Re: Newbie try dual boot
Yes, OS runs fine.
I was reading somewhere that there is a bug in Grub, and the solution is to reduce the Grub screen resolution.
So, I went into /etc/default/grub, and set the resolution to 640x480. After "update-grub", Grub is very responsive now.
