Re: Is Debian good for ThinkPads?
I have a ThinkPad Yoga 11e. Wifi works fine, just needed to install the package firmware-iwlwifi.

Re: Is Debian good for ThinkPads?
I have 2 Thinkpads, as well as a couple HPs all running Debian Bullseye(1 Thinkpad and both HP's Running DebianEdu{Skolelinux}).
They all required the use of non-free downloads as NONE of their Intel WiFi cards were recognized. Not a horrific fix, plugged in ethernet cable, updated and installed a few pkgs and they were off and running quite well.
This topic helped with that tremendously. viewtopic.php?f=16&t=150334
