The right-click menu does not open

#1 Post by Optimus »

I'm a Debian beginner, and I use Debian 11 as the main application in parallel, and Bookworm as a side application on another disk ...
On Bookworm, the function of opening the menu on the right mouse button is not active ... Thank you for every solution, even if it is the simplest.

[SOLVED] The right-click menu does not open

#2 Post by Optimus »

Try Alt-F2 to bring up the run dialog, ...
nemo-desktop
and press enter.

or permanently

Since Nemo v3.4.2, the desktop is managed by nemo-desktop. This can be configured to auto start by copying the file /usr/share/applications/nemo-autostart.desktop to ~/.config/autostart/nemo-autostart.desktop and removing the line OnlyShowIn=X-Cinnamon;.
