Is the a keybord shortcut in debian to go to the upper folder (backspace in ubuntu)

#1 Post by michaeltenerife »

HI everyone,

I am still getting used to Debian after 15years of Ubuntu and one thing I am still missing is the ability to go out of the folder while exploring files (it was the backspace key to do that on ubuntu).
I tried to look into settings keyboard shortcuts but no success.
Could someone help me with that?

Thank you

I only use KDE, in Dolphin it's Alt - up arrow key. Alt - left arrow for back and Alt - right arrow for forward (if you already went back). No idea if it's the same in other DEs.
