Sound issue on Bullseye

#1 Post by Cr4sh »

Hi, I'm trying to setup sound, but I can't understand something.
If I start play music using something like audacious, everyihing works fine, and same if I play some video or music from browser.
How to play both in the same time, because if I'm playing audacious, trying to play something from browser it don't works, and if I start to play from browser, audacious don't play as well.

I'm using gnome, and I followed https://wiki.debian.org/ALSA without good results

Code: Select all

01:00.1 Audio device [0403]: NVIDIA Corporation Device [10de:228e] (rev a1)
	Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Device [1043:87f5]
	Kernel driver in use: snd_hda_intel
	Kernel modules: snd_hda_intel
Does that looks fishy? An intel module for an Nvidia device?

My first sense was that one or another application had captured the sound card, which has happened to me running pulseaudio, in which case I have run:

Code: Select all

pactl unload-module module-udev-detect && pactl load-module module-udev-detect
to reset the audio.
