I have an issue with my Debian 10 vServer: IPv6 connections are incredibly slow in comparison with IPv4, sshd is often unusable using IPv6, I can only download from Apache with some 100kB/s or 200kB/s (with IPv4 it is 20× faster). However, when testing TCP performance directly using iperf I get approximately the same speed with IPv4 and IPv6 (or even a bit better with IPv6). Now I am very confused and have actually no idea how to continue trouble shooting. I have the suspection that something might have been broken when I fiddled with different VPN clients a while ago, but they have all been disabled and uninstalled again. Do you have any idea where to start?
Thanks alot for all ideas!
