Hi all,
I would do this configuration inside my LAN network.
I would use a laptop as multicast music server with this configuration:
- Laptop has got bluetooth card
- Laptop can be connected to home wired LAN
A mobile for example stream music to laptop via Bluetooth and laptop will broadcast this music inside LAN, for example via RTP protocol.
How can I do it? I did not found a solution on Google.
Have you got any ideas?
Thanks!

Re: How to broadcast bluetooth music in LAN
Hi @arochester,
Sincerely I do not think that it is the right solution.
I know DLNA server but I need to do:
- one smartphone transmit music through Bluetooth to my Linux PC. Linux PC has got BT card.
- PC broadcasts over the LAN received music by Bluetooth.
Inside LAN there are two/three clients that will receive music stream from Linux PC, so I thought about multicast stream inside LAN.
In others words, Linux PC will be Bluetooth to LAN
Thanks

Re: How to broadcast bluetooth music in LAN
Yes, but I not think that could not be possible.
I did not found anything at the moment...
I prefer "generic" software and not out-of-the-box solution/products. In this way I can use with different kinds of computer or Linux SBC.
Thanks!!

Can you not just do it with pulseaudio?
