Wake-Up by Mouse (PS/2)

#1 Post by MicrStrand »

For practical reasons, it isn't enough for me to wake up my system from standby with one of the keys on my keyboard, I would also like to wake the system up with my mouse, either by moving it or with one of the three buttons. However, this doesn't work so far because the mouse is ignored in this state. How can I configure this in the operating system?

First check if wakeup is enabled for mouse. Look in /proc/acpi/wakeup, It is probably disabled. Then you could try to enable it and test if it wakes up the system.
