power management broken

#1 Post by Nreal »

How can I completely disable display power management?
Im using lightdm and mate desktops, I have uninstalled the mate-power-manager as the power manager app doesnt prevent the display to get blanked and user logged out with any settings.
The problem is as I boot the computer up there are 3 seats and if not logged in every seat lets say in about 10 mins the screen will get blank and it wont resume without "systemctl restart display-manager" command, the problem is, that every seat has to reset or logged in every time computer starts.
What has to be done in Debian to disable screen savers and power management completely?
This was no issue with Gentoo..
