If I run
Code: Select all
ip addr show
Code: Select all
5: virbr0: <NO-CARRIER,BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP> mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue state DOWN group default qlen 1000
link/ether 52:54:00:f4:b8:83 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
inet 192.168.122.1/24 brd 192.168.122.255 scope global virbr0
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
Code: Select all
sudo brctl show
bridge name bridge id STP enabled interfaces
virbr0 8000.525400f4b883 yes
Why is this not working?
I've found articles on how to create a bridged connection but they all say to modify
But mine has nothing theirs does, it just contains/etc/network/interfaces
Code: Select all
# This file describes the network interfaces available on your system
# and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5).
source /etc/network/interfaces.d/*
# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
If it matters I'm on Debian Bookworm Kernel 5.18.0-2
