Finding Flac Audio Encoder for K3b

#1 Post by Budgie »

I am trying to rip a CD to flac using K3b. Looking through the plugin options flac is not listed. Does this mean it is not available for K3b or m I missing something?

I don't use KDE, just showed there are options. Sorry for Finnish translation.

I think KDE users can use Dolphin for that, but I haven't tested myself. K3b does not have that option, I think. You can't blame them, since it's a CD/DVD authoring application.

For a pure ripper outside KDE, try Asunder.

The Google hit the answer in the first result: you have to manually add flac as an external encoder in k3b's settings.
