Hi,
this app might be great to annotate screenshots or even gifs.
https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2019/03/dra ... untu-linux (website)
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/ ... ou-screen/ (download)
I don't have knowledge on Linux but was able to read the installation readme and might not be able to install on my system because Cinnamon is the desktop environment not gnome. Is it possible to start use gnome now instead of cinnamon ? To use the app ? Or install along cinnamon ?

Install gnome you can install it along cinnamon and many other DEs.
The "taskel" command will let you install gnome.
On the log in screen select gnome instead of cinnamon, search for some option icon.
That extension won't work on cinnamon I think, is there maybe a cinnamon extension for that?
