I am using debian 11 kde plasma. There are many shortcuts available. These are stored in several files
Code: Select all
~/.config/kglobalshortcutsrc
~/.config/khotkeysrc
And I think there can be more places where shortcuts are stored.
I would like to know how I can can find which key-combinations are not yet used for shortcuts?? How can i find these in an easy way.

The KDE key settings will warm you if you take a key combo that's already taken.

Yes, I know that but I would like to have an overview of all unused key combinations.

I just had another think about this. If one were only to use letters, numerals, and modifier keys, the possible key combinations would number 64,000.

That is why it would be very nice if somenone has created a program that creates a list of unused short cuts for us.

It seems to be scratching your itch, so you could write it.

Perhaps I will try but I am not a programmer.
