Hello everybody
Is there a way to connect to a yamaha psr music keyboard ?
the USB port is found via the lsusb command
lsusb
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0499:1030 Yamaha Corp. PSR-295/293
fdisk does not see this USB port as a disk so I cannot mount it.
I would like to mount the device/port to explore keyboard content to drop some midi files
help would be appreciated
thank you

yamaha psr keyboard USB port connection
Re: yamaha psr keyboard USB port connection
you don't mount midi device as a disk. If you have connected the midi interface correctly, "aconnect -i" should show the keyboard device. Then there are many ways to capture the midi key sequence. The following wiki could help
