HDMI doesn't work

#1 Post by Quiquoqua48 »

Hi all, I've got a problem with an external video on Debian Bullseye. I've connected the HDMI cable but nothing happen on monitor, It remains turned off, seems to not even been detected. However, when I'm at login screen, the external monitor is all white and turned on.

I've two cards in this laptop:

Code: Select all

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation CometLake-H GT2 [UHD Graphics] (rev 05)
Subsystem: Acer Incorporated [ALI] UHD Graphics
	Kernel driver in use: i915
--
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation TU117M (rev a1)
	Subsystem: Acer Incorporated [ALI] TU117M
	Kernel driver in use: nouveau
I've tried with nouveau and with nvidia drivers. With nvidia drivers the external mopnitor is always off, also in the login screen.
Anyone can help? Thanks!

UPDATE:
I've installed official Nvidia drivers with their installer and manually blacklisted nouveau drivers. Now only HDMI works correctly, I can't see anything on integrated display....
