Lekato looper

#1 Post by peer »

os: debian 11 kde plasma
I have a Lekato looper pedal. I should be able to copy .wav-files from and to this device.
When I connect the looper to my pc it is recognized as as camera (USB PTP class camera). I can mount it but I do not see any .wav-files and I am not able to write to the device.
Th output of the lsusb command is:

Code: Select all

Bus 004 Device 004: ID 4c4a:4155 Jieli Technology SINCO
When I run windows10 in qemu/kvm and redirect the looper to windows 10 it is recognized and I can see a .wav-file. I can write another wav-file to the device. So this works.

Does somebody know if and how I can connect the looper in Debian????
edit:
And here is the output of the command usb-devices:

Yeah, unfortunately same here. I was excited to think I was going to load some of my SooperLooper recordings on it, only to find that it's recognised as a camera :(

I really hope a kernel driver will be developed soon by somebody with the know-how to enable us to use it properly on Linux.

I now use a very old laptop (15 years old) on which I installed windows10. I removed as much as possible, disabled a lot of services and disconnected internet. I only have installed the Lekato looper software and the toneprint (TC Electronics) software.
We cannot use wine because the Lekato and TC Electronics use windows drivers for the usb port.
To bad we cannot use linux here

I see, it's not a USB class device then - bummer!

Anyhow, glad you have a workaround, I'll get my work laptop to do the transfers, but I would have loved to be able to do this from my linux recording setup, directly.
