How to fix broken fonts in KDE?

#1 Post by floppa »

I have issue with pixelish render of fonts in KDE on main user.

But on other user it seems ok.

I tried to restore to defaults, change to other font's style, but it didn't help.

Try enabling antialiasing
--> Sub pixel rendering: RGB
--> Hint style: Full

Then reboot.
Lenovo ThinkPad T440S, Intel Core i7-4600U CPU @ 2.10GHz, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, Debian Bullseye (KDE)
Lenovo ThinkPad X240, Intel Core i5-4300U CPU @ 2.90GHz, 8 GB RAM, 120 GB SSD, Debian Bullseye (KDE)

Perhaps try regenerating, if you haven't already:

Code: Select all

# dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig fontconfig-config
Lenovo ThinkPad T440S, Intel Core i7-4600U CPU @ 2.10GHz, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, Debian Bullseye (KDE)
Lenovo ThinkPad X240, Intel Core i5-4300U CPU @ 2.90GHz, 8 GB RAM, 120 GB SSD, Debian Bullseye (KDE)
