for some weird reason, i started having my web browser, a streaming app, my Downloads folder and the terminal all starting up every time i boot my laptop.
i tried to fiddle with the command line, but it always shows me so many services which i don't want to touch to avoid messing up my machine.
is there an easy-to-use gui app to do it?
if it matters, im using xfce4.

[Solved] manage startup apps through gui
Re: [Software] manage startup apps through gui
Yes there is. Select settings => session and startup => select tab where are programs which start when xfce is launched.
There might some deviations, as I use different locale then english.

Session and Startup -> uncheck Automatically save session on logout
There is also a checkbox at the bottom of the xfce4 logout screen.

yes, that's what happened. there was a saved session that was loading up every time i would reboot the machine.
i deleted it and unticked the automatic saving.
