[Software] Disabling stretching of non-native resolutions on a 1080p monitor?

#1 Post by Chaussettes »

Sorry for the bad title but I'm essentially looking for a way to disable stretching non-native resolutions, such as 1280x720, to cover the entire screen on a 1080p monitor. I play some games at 720p, and the full-screen stretching causes the image quality to degrade quite a bit. Windows had an option in the nvidia control panel to disable stretching at non-native resolutions and it worked pretty well, but I have not been able to find any equivalent setting in either the Nvidia X Server Settings program or my desktop environment's (LXQt) monitor settings.

It would be very appreciated if someone could point me in the right direction, thanks.
