Hello,

According to xorg.0.log you sent (running kernel 6.0), these are the graphic cards in your notebook named "Alpha 17 A4DEK/MS-17EK":

Code: Select all

PCI: (3@0:0:0) 1002:731f:1462:12ce rev 194, Mem @ 0xd0000000/268435456, 0xe0000000/2097152, 0xfe400000/524288, BIOS @ 0x????????/131072
PCI:*(8@0:0:0) 1002:1636:1462:12ce rev 198, Mem @ 0xb0000000/268435456, 0xc0000000/2097152, 0xfe300000/524288, I/O @ 0x0000e000/256
The PCI: (3@0:0:0) 1002:731f is the Navi 10 [Radeon RX 5600 OEM/5600 XT / 5700/5700 XT]
The PCI:*(8@0:0:0) 1002:1636 is the AMD Renoir: this is the default (*) graphic card.

Both of them seem to have their own video memory (video memory is not shared).

The amdgpu kernel module is loaded for both of them:

Code: Select all

[ 11.513] (II) Applying OutputClass "AMDgpu" to /dev/dri/card1
[ 11.513] loading driver: amdgpu
[ 11.513] (II) Applying OutputClass "AMDgpu" to /dev/dri/card0
[ 11.513] loading driver: amdgpu
The linux kernel framebuffer is activated for both of them (therefore, during Debian start-up both monitor go live).

Both are recognized by the X server.

The AMD Renoir default graphic card seems to be connected through "eDP" port to the (internal ?) panel branded "Manufacturer: AUO Model: 978f":

Code: Select all

(II) AMDGPU(0): glamor X acceleration enabled on AMD RENOIR (DRM 3.48.0, 6.0.0-0.deb11.6-amd64, LLVM 11.0.1)
(II) AMDGPU(0): glamor detected, initialising EGL layer.
(==) AMDGPU(0): TearFree property default: auto
(==) AMDGPU(0): VariableRefresh: disabled
(II) AMDGPU(0): KMS Pageflipping: enabled
(II) AMDGPU(0): Output eDP has no monitor section
(II) AMDGPU(0): Output DisplayPort-1 has no monitor section
(II) AMDGPU(0): Output DisplayPort-2 has no monitor section
(II) AMDGPU(0): Output DisplayPort-3 has no monitor section
(II) AMDGPU(0): EDID for output eDP
(II) AMDGPU(0): Manufacturer: AUO Model: 978f Serial#: 0
(II) AMDGPU(0): Year: 2020 Week: 3
(II) AMDGPU(0): EDID Version: 1.4
The AMD Radeon RX 5600M graphic card is connected through the HDMI-A-1-0 port to a monitor named "Manufacturer: GSM Model: 57e4":

Code: Select all

(--) AMDGPU(G0): Chipset: "AMD Radeon RX 5600M" (ChipID = 0x731f)
[..]
(II) AMDGPU(G0): glamor detected, initialising EGL layer.
(==) AMDGPU(G0): TearFree property default: auto
(II) AMDGPU(G0): Output DisplayPort-1-0 has no monitor section
(II) AMDGPU(G0): Output HDMI-A-1-0 has no monitor section
(II) AMDGPU(G0): EDID for output DisplayPort-1-0
(II) AMDGPU(G0): EDID for output HDMI-A-1-0
(II) AMDGPU(G0): Manufacturer: GSM Model: 57e4 Serial#: 36911
(II) AMDGPU(G0): Year: 2010 Week: 12
(II) AMDGPU(G0): EDID Version: 1.3
The X server starts using the AMD Renoir default graphic card, but not the AMD Radeon RX 5600M graphic card. The AMD Radeon RX 5600M graphic card is physically connected to the HDMI port and therefore the monitor named "GSM Model: 57e4" stays blank.

From previous posts, you reported:

Code: Select all

xrandr --listproviders
Providers: number : 2
Provider 0: id: 0x47 cap: 0xf, Source Output, Sink Output, Source Offload, Sink Offload crtcs: 4 outputs: 4 associated providers: 0 name:modesetting
Provider 1: id: 0x12c cap: 0xf, Source Output, Sink Output, Source Offload, Sink Offload crtcs: 6 outputs: 2 associated providers: 0 name:modesetting
Searching with these clues, I have found this documentation [1]. According to it, you can issue the following command:

Code: Select all

xrandr --setprovideroutputsource 1 0
Then the xrandr command could show the HDMI port.
