Hi forums,
I am using a new Lenovo X1 Carbon Extreme Gen 3. I am attaching a video of horrible screen tearing I just started experiencing after using Debian for about a month now. It's very concerning... I am worried my graphics chip might be damaged. It also happened right after I plugged it in to charge (I was not seeing this before I plugged it in). Furthermore, I've noticed very little fan activity on my system since using Debian (much quieter than it was on windows)

Anyone have any suggestions?
Cheers

Re: GPU Artifcats on Debian
So it was OK for a month and just started? No major software changes? I'd guess hardware damage.

Cats, especially artificial robot cats (artifcats), love to mess up laptops.
Debian 11 is getting kinda old for the newest hardware, so we need sunrat's inxi command to see what you have.
