Some good updates there. Firmware detection and enabling the non-free-firmware repo seems improved - in the Alpha2 I had to install intel-microcode manually but this appears like it is handled automatically in RC1.
The errata is interesting too, with fixes for several issues which have been raised in forum topics - sound firmware, and guided partitioning with LVM - https://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/errata
