[solved] Brightness control missing

#1 Post by PsychoHermit »

Hey folks,

Running Debian testing on an hp Envy M6 Touchsmart laptop. Running Gnome on Wayland.

The brightness control had gone missing from the panel you get clicking in the upper right corner of the display. Any clues?

Thanks,
--glenn

Well hell, it looks like i have stumped the experts, plenty of views but no replies.

I had a minor disaster with a backup and ended up reinstalling Debian and the brightness control came back.
