Hello,
I am having issues installing Debian 11.6 64bit on my 2018 Mac mini
I am able to have it detect my USB stick but the Boot menu to begin the installation doesn't load.
It will only load the GRUB menu
I am able to run the installation on prior versions of Mac mini without any issues
Is there an easy fix for this?

Re: Debian 11.6 USB boot issue GRUB
You have an existing linux installation on your Mac, do I understand correctly?
How do you select usb stick during boot?

Hello Dashek,
Thank you for your reply
Below are the steps I've taken with the 2018 Mac mini
-Log into Recovery mode
--Disabled Apple BIOS security preventing other OS from being installed
--Terminated OSX partitions on HDD
-Reboot Mac Mini while holding KB key to access boot menu
--Selected USB Key UEFI from menu
--When loading from USB key I receive the GRUB menu as detailed in the below link.
Screenshoot saved on Google Drive
I've tried formatting my key on using Debian 11.6 as well with 11.8 and 12.4 but same issue
I am able to install on other Mac Mini such as 2010 and 2012 using the same process without issues
Is there a command sequence I can type in GRUB to load the Debian install?

Looks like i found my answer.
Mac Mini 2018 has the Apple T2 security chip installed
Unfortunately Debian does not support it without modifications
There's a group that created a MOD for it
