Debian isn't in danger, I believe it's gonna hit only Windows and Macs

Yes, it was actually noticeable in my case! However, it wasn't my PC but the modem that was affected. I had to turn it off and turn it back on again after about 5 seconds and then it worked again. That was the first time something like that happened. ;)

The walls, ceiling and floor of my apartment are papered with heavy duty aluminum foil hung with rubber glue. Shiny side facing out.

The current magnetic storm can potentially have an impact on electronic devices, including PCs and laptops. However, it's important to note that such impacts are generally minimal and unlikely to cause significant damage. Here's a statement with added transition words for coherence:

"While the ongoing magnetic storm may have some effect on electronic devices, including PCs and laptops, it's crucial to understand that the impact is typically minimal and rarely leads to substantial damage. Electronic devices are designed with certain levels of resilience to external factors, and magnetic storms, although capable of inducing minor disturbances, are unlikely to cause widespread issues. Nevertheless, it's advisable to take precautionary measures, such as using surge protectors, to mitigate potential risks and ensure the continued functionality of your devices during such geomagnetic events."
