[Hardware] My UEFI just erased debian

#1 Post by Damianmg9 »

It is the second time it happened, I normally use windows but decided to change to a dualboot with windows and debian, after spending a lot of time configuring some programs and debian I did a restart and after using windows for a while when i turned back to use debian there was no option to boot into it again, did a reinstall and same happened, I dont know why after using windows I cant boot into debian again and if its possible to do it without reinstalling because I dont want to spend more time configuring everything including drivers

What do the following report if you boot installation media in rescue mode or boot the installed Debian system via the installation media?:
  • efibootmgr -v
  • inxi -MSr --vs
  • cat /etc/fstab
  • parted -l
  • lsblk -f
Please copy/paste the entirety of these complete input/output within code tags (</> icon above input window). Order doesn't matter. Maintaining the format of the output does. Output may be redirected to a file or files to facilitate the copy process, but you will need to retype each command before its pasted output. Example:

Code: Select all

# efibootmgr -v
