My apologies as I am not a Linux expert but am learning.
I have a computer that has a RAID card in it.
However, I have setup the card to HBA mode as I want to setup ZFS (ZFS doesn't support RAID).
However, the computer will not boot from the disk while using HBA mode.
I have an SD card but I need help setting up the SD to boot and then transfer to the SSD's.
The SSD's already have Debian 12 installed.
I just want to add a boot record to the SD so it will boot onto the local SSD's.
I assume I will have to install/adjust grub or something to make the system transfer from the SD to the SSD's?
Any ideas on how to do this?

Re: SD boot to local SSD
If I understand correctly, I think you may want to try using the grub-install command to achieve this. Beyond this, remember to backup before experimenting.
