Blue Yeti Microphone USB does not stay connected

#1 Post by richard378 »

Hi,
My Yeti Blue Microphone shows up in gnome settings and other programs, but does not work unless I unplug and plug it back in. How do I fix it so I don't need to unplug and plug it in every time I turn on the computer. I duel boot Windows11 and have power management turned off as it prevents my WiFi from working if I don't. This happens every time I boot or reboot Debain, so I don't think it has to do with duel boot. I am running Debian 12. My MB is a x570 Aorus Extreme v.1.1. It is plugged into a USB port on the back of the computer. I have tried multiple USB ports. Edit: alsamixer does nothing to help. It can not activate the microphone.
