Hey guys..
The Debian 12 Homebank package is currently at version 5.6.2 (2024-04-11). However, the stable package (https://www.gethomebank.org/pt/downloads.php#gnulinux) is in version 5.7.4.
How can I update this package from 5.6.2 to 5.7.4 and be able to install the most current version?
When I try to install from the .deb package, this error appears: Dependency is not contentable: homebank-data(>=5.7.4-1)

Re: [Software] Homebank package update, from 5.6.2 to 5.7.4
Hello,
The version 5.7.4-1 is in the Debian Unstable repository:
The binary version 5.7.4-1 from Debian unstable repository cannot be installed in Debian Stable because of some missing dependency due to version upgrade and migration of other packages.
I downloaded the source code of 5.7.4-1 from upstream [1] and it builds on Debian Stable (after downloading required dependencies), but it requires some knowledge on how build programs and manually installing them.
Hope this helps.

thanks for your answer @Aki. I think it's better to wait a little then.
