Considering https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolutio ... te_1984690 Bookworm seems not able to link Evolution to a Google Mail accout due to an outdated evolution-data-server. The "Authorization code" field is not filled having checked the small arrow icon.

Looks a bug report should be filed. Has anyone experienced the same issue?

Evolution: Google Mail authentication request / Authorization code
Re: Evolution: Google Mail authentication request / Authorization code
Running Evolution 3.46.4-2 with Gmail and Outlook accounts no problem.
That report seems to relate to Fedora. If you are seeing an issue with Evolution in your Debian installation then perhaps it would help if you provided a bit more information.

Re: Evolution: Google Mail authentication request / Authorization code
Yes, an existing Evolution 3.46.4-2 with Gmail keeps working. However, on a new installs, it fails on Debian and should be straightforward to reproduce. That said, my Gmail is secured by 2FA and/or passkeys.
Re: Evolution: Google Mail authentication request / Authorization code
Just checked on a fresh install of 12.5. This version of evolution-data-server is not working for me:
